And The Award For Best Clapback Goes To: Chrissy Teigen

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Akron chapter.

Chrissy Teigen does a lot: she’s a mom, model, co-host for “Lip Sync Battle,” and Queen of the Clapback.  She’s definitely not afraid to express her true feelings about anything, especially when calling others out.  Maybe when you were at the grocery store a few weeks ago you saw the cover of In Touch Magazine.  On the cover it had a photo of Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend with the caption “Chrissy & John On the Verge of Splitting Up.”  I laughed to myself when I saw this because I follow Chrissy Teigen on literally every platform of social media and knew this was 100% untrue.

Teigen wasn’t having it when she saw the magazine cover and posted a photo of it on Instagram with the caption, “Oh in touch go f*ck yourselves, you exclusively dumb pieces of trash.”  I would be pissed too if I was in her shoes, especially since In Touch just recently posted about the couple’s anniversary together.

This also hasn’t been the first time Teigen has called someone out or spoken her mind on social media.  Even if you’re the President of the United States, Teigen still is very open about her feelings.

Teigen has also joked on Twitter with her husband when he tweeted about how great he is at singing.  Honestly, if I ever get married and my husband doesn’t joke around or make savage comebacks to some of the things I say then I don’t know what I’m going to do.

I personally love that Chrissy Teigen is very quick on her feet with her witty responses to literally everyone.  She gives absolutely zero f**** about what anybody else thinks about her and isn’t afraid to reveal her true feelings, and that’s something I think we can all learn from.  Chrissy, please don’t ever change; we love you just the way you are.
