Everyone knows the classic dates: going to a movie, going out for dinner etc., but those, to put it bluntly, are extremely boring. Yes, going to a movie or a dinner is nice, the first 20 times you go, but eventually it gets boring. Here’s five date ideas to spice it up a little bit.

  1. Axe Throwing

What could be more fun that throwing a sharp object at a target? Not only is it quieter than a shooting range, but it can also lead to some great bonding moments when both of you inevitably miss the target, multiple times. Not only do you get to make great memories but a single session typically lasts between 2.5-3 hours which is plenty of fun bonding time for you and your partner.

  1. Skydiving

While skydiving may seem like a strange date idea, which it totally is, it could also be an incredibly fun activity to do with a date. Not only is there single skydiving, but you can actually skydive as a couple. Not only is skydiving an exhilarating experience, but there’s no need to worry about how you dress because you have to put on a jumpsuit anyway. The only downside in my opinion is the cost, which is unfortunately high. However, if skydiving is within your price range, it would definitely be a date to remember.

  1. Ziplining

Ziplining is essentially like skydiving, however you fly over incredible forests and landscapes instead. Most zipline tours last about 2 hours, so they’re well worth the price, especially since you get to see some truly incredible and beautiful areas. Most zipline places also take photos so you can snag some incredibly funny photos of you and your partner to keep.

  1. Bungee Jumping

Bungee jumping is another incredibly unique experience. Not only is it fun, but most actual jumps aren’t like the crazy ones seen in viral videos, they are much shorter, just enough for some exhilarating fun but not enough to feel like you’re about to fall to your death. While the activity is on the shorter side, with the actual activity only lasting about 10-15 minutes (including getting harnessed up) it’s yet another thrilling activity you and your date will probably remember for a very long time.

  1. Ballroom Dancing

Ballroom dancing is both a fun way to work up a sweat and an incredibly fun experience for both partners. Ballroom dancing also tends to rely on an intimate trust between partners and can help to build that with the lifts, dips, and twirls that are involved. Overall, it’s a great way to get in some cardio and spend an evening having fun with your partner.

While this is only five fun date ideas, don’t let yourself be limited by traditional date ideas! Get out there and have fun while planning dates and remember that your creativity is the only limit you have.
