During the cold winter months, it’s hard not to fantasize about the future of warmth and sun that’s ahead. However, sometimes we get carried away and expect way too much of spring and don’t get what we wanted in return.
Expectation: Sun everyday
Reality: Sun 30% of days and mostly rain. You know what they say, “April Showers bring May flowers” (and then more rain).
Expectation: Once it’s March it’s going to be warm
Reality: Actual warmth doesn’t come until May
Expectation: Trips to the beach
Reality: COLD trips to the beach
Expectation: Having an adorable new wardrobe for the new season
Reality: Realizing you’re a broke college student and wearing the same clothes from last year
Expectation: Everything changing
Reality: Basically nothing changing at all
Although it seems to take a while to get here, when it is here, it’s wonderful. You just have to hang in there and be patient. Good weather is coming our way!
