Q: What is your major? What do you plan on doing in the future with the major you’re studying?A: I’m an acting major and after college, I plan on trying to become part of a comedy acting so that i could be part of Saturday night live.
Q: What activities do you take part in and do you have any leadership positions on campus?A: On campus, I am apart of ASTEP and HerCampus as the secretary.
Q: What do you love about Adelphi? What’s your favorite part of campus?A: The thing i love most about adelphi is how accepting and friendly the people are. My favorite part of campus would be the Performing Arts Center.

Q: What a activities do you take part in and do you have any leadership positions on campus?A: I feel like I change my mind everyday with what I want to do in the future because the Communications field is so broad! I’ve thought about wanting to become a Creative Director in film, a TV Producer, or an Entertainment Director for a magazine. It changes everyday! I think that eventually I’ll figure it out, whether it’s by continuing to explore the Comm. Dept or through the internships I experience. I mainly just want to feel happy and passionate with what it is I decide to do. I’m part of the Seventeen Magazine Social Media team, I’m also a writer/contributor for TheDaily411.com and of course, a writer and Social Media coordinator for Her Campus Adelphi! Last semester I put my leadership skills to the test and I was a Campus Rep at Adelphi for Rent The Runway. I really love everything I’m involved with because they’ve each taught me so much about the Communications field and have helped me come closer to achieving my goals.
Q: What do you love about Adelphi?Whats your favorite part of campus?A: What I love the most about Adelphi are all the opportunities it offers. During the first week of my first semester as a freshman, I was able to get a job on campus. I work in the Ruth S. Ammon School of Education and I love working there. Also, during my first semester I was able to volunteer in Washington D.C., with CSI. I love helping out in any way I can, so that was an amazing experience. Those are just a few of the opportunities that I’ve gotten the chance to enjoy through Adelphi because there are so many. It’s really a great school for opening new doors to students. You feel motivated to get involved in something as soon as you walk on campus. My favorite part of campus is definitely the garden area in between Alumnae Hall and Harvey Hall. There’s a tree by there that’s very dear to my heart because it’s dedicated to Caroline Mungai. She was a student at Adelphi and was the daughter of the amazing professor, Dr. Anne Mungai, whom I work for on campus. When you walk by, you just can’t help but feel so peaceful. It’s a really beautiful area and there’s even a small bench nearby, so you get to really enjoy it’s beauty once you sit down.
