My Dearest Cold Brew,
My short restless night has ended.
Dawn is upon us, yet I lay immobile in my bed.
The force of gravity restrains me to my bed,
while my eyes are glued shut.
Zombie-like and with blood-shot eye, I roll out of bed,
dreading for the day to start.
All before I met you…
You gave me life, a purpose to get out of bed.
Your bold, smooth body makes my mouth water.
I yearn for your taste.
Your bitterness is enough to wake the dead.
You breathed life back into me.
One sip was all it took for me to fall in love with you.
I am now whole again, thank you cold brew. You are the reason why I am able to get through my day.
