Q: What’s your year and major?
A: I’m a Junior Creative Writing and Film Major.
Q: What activities are you involved in school and outside school?
A: I’m the Vice President of Recruitment for Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity, a Peer Educator, Event Planner for English Honor Society, an employee for Event Management and Student Success on campus, and off campus, I work at Something Greek.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love to write poetry, read, and being around people I care about.
FUN Fact: Since the beginning of the semester, Julian has become a huge Doctor Who fan aka Whovian! At the moment he’s almost done with season 7 and he hopes to be fully caught by the Christmas episode this year.
Q: What do you love about Adelphi?
A: I love the sense of community that Adelphi had, I’ve met so many fantastic people and it’s wonderful.
Q: What do you wish to do when you graduate? (What are your goals)
A: I want to work in film, writing scripts and maybe creating my own movie! That’d be awesome.
Q: Do you have any role models?
A: My role model is definitely my mom, she’s such a strong woman emotionally and mentally, living her life with positive vibes and to the best of her abilities.
FUN Fact: Julian is a super affectionate person and his main mode of greeting and goodbye and general communication for absolutely anyone is a big hug no matter what.
Q: What’s your favorite place at Adelphi?
A: My favorite place on campus is definitely the underground cafe in the UC, it’s where I chill out a lot and it’s got wonderful music and the events where people perform on the platform.
Q: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Make great friends during your time here. The bonds you make in college are some of the most important and help you deal with your problems so cherish everyone.
Q: What is your favorite memory at Adelphi?
A: One of my favorite memories is the poetry slam that Mosaic club held not too long ago, I had a great time performing and everyone that participated connected with the audience in such a real way that blew my mind.
Q: What do you think is most important in order to have a great college experience?
A: Like I said before, the bonds that you make with people are some of the most important things in the universe and the bonds you forge in college will help to mold who you are as a person in the adult world.
