This week’s Campus Cutie is Jorge Varon!!!
Q: What’s your major and year?
A: I am a business management major, human resources specialization and a psychology minor. I can totally use that in the future, especially for getting into business. I’m interested in getting into the music business. I’m a junior at Adelphi University.
Q: What activites do you participate in at Adelphi University?
A: I am the public relations and social media person of Spanish Club. Being on facebook excessively can turn into a positive thing! I also contribute to the literary magazine on campus. I am also the creator, photographer, and head editor of HUMANS OF ADELPHI. I like to write in my spare time, mainly poetry and short stories.
Q: Where are you from?
A: The sunny and vapid Los Angeles
Q: What are some date ideas you have or suggest?
A: Well, don’t see Life of Pi, it’s not a date movie. Tigers peeing in your face in 3D is not romantic. On a date, my goal is to know somebody better and just connect with them. Anything from just getting a cup of coffee to going to a show together. My dream date would be walking the highline and overlook the city.
Q: Do you like Adelphi?
A: I love it!
Q: What’s your favorite place at Adelphi?
A: The financial aid office because they just love us so much that they keep making us come back. My absolute favorite place is the underground cafe because of Tonya and Norma. And the late night C-Store because of Vicky.
Q: What hobbies do you have?
A: Listening to music, people that know me know that I always have music on. It always helps me relax and be happy. I also love longboarding because it makes me feel free. One of my other favorite things is hanging out with my friends because they make me happy.
Q: Do you have any aspirations or goals?
A: I dont dream to be great. I dream to have a great life. I hope to have a stable job in the music industry. I hope to also have a great family and life with the people I love. That’s all you really need in life.
Q: Do you have any role models?
A: I consider my friends as role models because they make me want to better myself and not disappoint them at all.
