September is childhood cancer awareness month in which we remember children and their families who have been affected by these diseases. They need love, prayers, and most importantly support from everyone. On Saturday, September 26 2015, there will be a St. Jude 5K Walk/ Run to End Childhood Cancer. The walk will take place on the Brooklyn Bridge 1 Cadman Plaza E Brooklyn, New York at 10 am.
If you are looking to participate in supporting childhood cancer awareness, come out to the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend! Participants can form teams, set a goal for how much they are hoping to raise, and start fundraising. You will enjoy the beautiful architecture of the bridge, scenery, weather, and other people’s company who are walking for the same reason. I’ve participated in this walk in the past two years and can say it was an amazing experience. It is so wonderful to see a community of people wake up bright and early to support children and families affected by cancer. Join in the support to help find a cure.
