Spring is around the corner, and you know what that means! It’s time to bust out those old, vibrant makeup palettes, or even better, go shopping for new ones. How is Spring going to officially be Spring unless we makeup addicts artistically accentuate our features to accommodate the new season? (Yes, that’s fancy talk for another reason to buy more makeup.) Here are some awesome palettes you totally need in your life, especially now that the April showers and May flowers are right around the corner!

This palette is a Springtime, metallic, sparkly heaven. It includes light and dark greens, pinks, and neutrals: the perfect Spring colors for both day and night looks. Bonus: it also includes a black shade for exhilarating nights at parties, clubs, concerts, and more!
KAT VON D Metal Crush Extreme Highlighter Palette, $36
Kat Von D strikes yet again with her flawless palettes. This highlighter trio comes in metallic shades that are guaranteed to catch any glimpse of light. The peach, opal, and pink colors scream Spring and use the newest trend: liquid-to-powder application.
TOO FACED Life’s A Festival Eye Shadow Palette, $42
Yes, you heard it here. Too Faced has a unicorn collection, and it literally has SPRING written across its forehead. The palette includes bright, vibrant Spring colors that come in mattes, shimmers, and highlighters. The name of it is pretty appropriate as well; Spring is all about the different music festivals, food festivals, culture festivals, etc.
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette, $42
This one is a personal favorite of mine. I’ve been using it for about half a year now, and, well, it’s actually the best palette I’ve ever laid my hands on. The neutral-to-berry tones, the wide array of mattes and shimmers, the velvet-like feeling of the entire application process, and so many other things about this palette make it stand out. My favorite thing about it is that you can blend the colors flawlessly for the ultimate elegant Springtime look.
SEPHORA COLLECTION Holographic Face & Cheek Palette, $28
This highlighter-blush duo is super-vibrant and super-affordable! The bright yet soft pinks, blues, and greens are classic, essential springtime looks. Bonus: the entire SEPHORA collection is filled with affordable and high-quality makeup products. Out of all the matte liquid lipsticks I’ve tried, the $14 ones from this collection will always be the longest-lasting, most transfer-proof lipsticks I have ever worn. (I own 7!)
If you think about it, these palettes only cost a few hours’ worth of your job salary. When you put it into perspective, a few hours of work is totally worth owning some of the best palettes and rocking them this Spring. I don’t know about you, but I would head to your local Sephora outlet before they run out of all the good stuff. Happy Spring!
