As we enter the fall season and return back to school, coffee as part of our everyday routine is a habit that we naturally (and happily) fall back into. However, Dunkin’ Donuts is giving their coffee lovers the chance to determine which flavor will be brewed on ice next summer, with the selection being chosen from amongst Baskin Robbin’s ice cream flavors. According to Cosmopolitan, voters have the options of: Butter Pecan, Cookie Dough, Pistachio, Rocky Road and Jamoca Almond Fudge.
So how do you get in on this contest? It’s literally at your fingertips —from August 21 to the 25, comment on Dunkin’ Donuts’ pinned posts about the contest on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with your selected flavor. Then, on the last day of voting, Dunkin’ Donuts will present five Snapchat filters, one for each flavor, and you can show off your favorite in store. Marketing Dive reports that the winning flavor will be announced on August 31, and will hit stores next summer.
Starbucks who? By that time, everyone’s favorite coffee and donut place might just be Dunkin’—we’re just bummed we’ll have to wait until next summer to get our hands on the new flavor.
