Unwell Energy: Caffeine Level, Flavors, Where To Buy, & More Info

Between Call Her Daddy, her podcast and production empire, and her Unwell drink brand, Alex Cooper truly does it all. But now, she’s expanding even further. On Dec. 10, Unwell announced that Unwell Hydration is now Unwell Beverages, and is launching their newest product: energy drinks! Unwell Energy is joining the brand’s lineup, joining their existing array of hydration, protein, and powdered stick pack products. But Unwell Energy doesn’t just provide caffeine. On top of being your perfect afternoon pick-me-up, Unwell Energy packs in some additional ingredients to support overall health, and leaves out all of the junk you don’t want. And did I mention, it comes in four flavors that sound seriously delicious?

“Wellness culture constantly tells us to be perfect, but Unwell Beverages was created to meet women exactly where they are,” Cooper said in a press release shared with Her Campus. “Whether they’re thirsty, hungry, or exhausted, Unwell Beverages allows us to support our community with great tasting, better-for-you versions of their favorite drinks.” With the wide range of beverages offered by Unwell, Cooper follows through on that promise.

With school, work, and everything in between, I know I could go for another caffeine option. For those who are just as eager to try out Cooper’s newest creation, here’s what we know so far about Unwell Energy.

Unwell Energy Caffeine Level

Each can of Unwell Energy contains 150 milligrams of natural caffeine derived from green coffee extract. For reference, a cup of coffee contains about 95 milligrams and a shot of espresso has about 64 milligrams of caffeine. While we typically associate energy drinks primarily with caffeine, Unwell Energy also packs in 745 milligrams of electrolytes and six essential B vitamins — including biotin for hair and skin support — in each can.

Unwell is also a notably clean energy drink, too, leaving out artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, erythritol, and acesulfame potassium. Instead, the energy drinks are formulated with real fruit juice and stevia, containing only 3 grams of sugar per can. The drinks come in four fruit flavors: cherry lime, passion fruit orange guava, watermelon, and pineapple coconut.

Unwell Energy Release Date & Where To Buy It

Unwell Energy will be sold exclusively at Target, both in stores nationwide and online at Target.com, starting Dec. 28. It’ll retail for $2.69 per bottle, so get ready to stock up.
