This is my last week of school before I head off to spring break in Florida! A bunch of my girlfriends and I are headed to my house in South Florida—we are so beyond ready and excited!

For the road trip down to Florida, we have about a 12-hour drive…Yeah. Talk about a serious road trip. We are leaving Friday morning really early to get a head-start on the day. I am riding with a few friends in the car and we are going to have so much fun! For the car ride itself, we are prepared with snacks and music. Whenever I’m on a road trip, I always have some essentials that I need to survive the long day.

Food

This one is a given for anyone, but for road trips especially, I love the snacky food like popcorn, carrots, or animal crackers. There’s really no way to eat healthy on the road (at least not in my book), so why not just go all out, yeah?

Water

While I don’t like to drink tons of water on the car ride, I do like to have some to keep hydrated. Drinking too much water means bathroom breaks, which means more stops, so drinking water is kept to a minimum unfortunately.

Music

love listening to some nice throwback music in the car. I love me some Hannah Montana, High School Musical, old Avril Lavigne, you know…The usual…I think that music really helps the time go by fast. If I didn’t have music, I really don’t know what I would occupy my time with.
