Starbucks’ Spring Menu Includes 2 Brand New Lavender Drinks

From formals to finals to graduation, spring is a season with a lot going on, especially for college students. What better way to decompress and prepare for any spring scaries than with a cold, caffeinated drink in your reusable cup? Well, get ready to enter a lavender haze this semester (that one was for you, Swifties). Starbucks’ spring 2024 menu introduces two brand new lavender-flavored beverages for the first time ever, and I need to try them ASAP.

Starbucks’ spring menu is giving good vibes and pastel power. Starbucks teased the spring menu release on March 6 in a lavender-colored Instagram post with the caption, “A fresh shade of spring arrives soon.” Enter: the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte.

The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha is made with creamy matcha and oatmilk and topped off with lavender cream cold foam, making this drink subtly sweet and flowery — plus, it’s the most aesthetically-pleasing drink for you to feature on your IG. The Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte combines Blonde Espresso with creamy oatmilk, ice, and lavender. These sweet and floral drinks might just be my kryptonite.

The Starbucks spring collection doesn’t just have new drinks — it also includes vibrant cups galore! Starbucks has eight new multi-colored cups and tumblers that exude spring vibes, plus an additional cup collection designed in honor of Women’s History Month. Starbucks collaborated with Atlanta-born artist Shae Anthony in their latest Starbucks Collaboration Series to create one-of-a-kind ‘90s inspired cups that are all about empowering women. Anthony even designed a Target-exclusive Starbucks cup collection with fun, abstract shapes and messages like “love yourself” on them. Immediately, yes.

With cup colors ranging from seafoam green to magenta to pink, you’re bound to find a new spring cup that matches your vibe and keeps your Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha cold. I’m obsessed with the Spring Showers Glass Water Bottle ($25) that looks like it’s reflecting the colors of a rainbow, and the Pastel Tie-Dye Cold Cup ($30).

But wait, there’s more! Starbucks Reserve locations in Chicago, New York, and Seattle are offering new spring menu items that include malt and affogato drinks and three avocado toast options. As someone who puts avocado on literally everything, I’m jealous that I don’t live near these areas to give the avocado toasts a try.

If you’re less of a lavender fan and more of a Pink Drink fan, spring might just be your season! Ready-to-drink Pink Drinks are now at grocery stores, so you can grab one on the go. Starbucks is also debuting the new Starbucks Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Starbucks Spring Day Blend, and Starbucks Toasted Coconut Mocha flavored coffees in grocery stores as well. It’s giving Starbucks spring takeover!

Starbucks always knows how to make the turn of the seasons more exciting. Brb, I gotta go try the new Iced Lavender Oatmeal Latte while listening to “Lavender Haze” in the car to finish manifesting a good spring semester.
