The holiday season is in full swing, and one of the best ways to celebrate is by grabbing your favorite Starbucks holiday drink. Millions of people look forward to the Starbucks holiday menu and collection release every year, and the company has added a few more surprises for customers in 2023. From peppermint mochas to gingerbread lattes, Starbucks has offered dozens of festive menu items for years. This year, they’ve added a brand new drink to the collection, over a month after the holiday menu first dropped: the Merry Mint White Mocha.
The Merry Mint White Mocha is an iced drink with espresso and white chocolate sauce, topped with Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam and chocolate curls. This drink, like the rest of Starbucks’s holiday collection, is only available for a limited time; Starbucks holiday items typically leave in early January.
The new mocha isn’t the only surprise Starbucks has dropped this holiday season. In November, the company released another new drink: the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. According to People, the oat milk and black tea drink tastes “like a gingerbread house in a cup,” and is also available as a warm drink.
The Merry Mint White Mocha, Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai, and other cold holiday drinks are available in Starbucks’s holiday cold cups, which are decorated with frosted baubles and sparkles. If you prefer warm drinks, Starbucks has four holiday-themed options: Party Plaid, Peppermint Swirl, Ribbon Spool, and Bauble Wrap. Starbucks also has new holiday-themed reusable cold cups in 2023.
Speaking of merchandise, Starbucks is offering even more holiday cheer this December. From Dec. 12 to 25, select packaged coffee and merchandise items will be 50% off. If you’re looking for a last-minute gift for the coffee lover in your life, Starbucks is the perfect place to look for some deals.Â
Starbucks is also continuing “Festive ThursYays” for the month of December: Every Thursday, Starbucks Rewards members can get any drink 50% off between noon and 6 p.m. If you’re looking for an excuse to try the Merry Mint White Mocha or another holiday drink, Thursday afternoons are the perfect time to stop in.
If you’re a hot chocolate fan, Starbucks is also offering a free short hot chocolate with each grande drink ordered every Saturday and Sunday in December. This offer is limited to one beverage per order.
Starbucks drinks are one of the best parts of the holiday season each year, and 2023 is no exception. Stop into your local Starbucks shop to try the new drinks, get some gift shopping done, and enjoy the holiday season.
