This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

It’s no secret that the road to college can be complicated and overwhelming for any high school student. From saving up to understanding the application process, there’s definitely a lot to take in. Thankfully, College Board has your back when it comes to getting to college.

Starting this December for the class of 2020, College Board is here to help you through it all with their College Board Opportunity Scholarships. This new scholarship program has no minimum GPA, no essay, and no family income requirement— scholarships are rewarded based off all of your hard work and effort towards getting into college!

So, how does this scholarship program actually work? Well, the more effort you put in, the more chances you get to earn money for college. The program outlines six key steps that students should take on their journey to college. Some steps are as simple as practicing for the SAT or completing the FAFSA for financial aid. The College Board wants to reward high school students who are really putting the work in towards getting to that college goal. Starting with the class of 2020, 4,000 scholarships will be awarded every year, ranging from $500 to $40,000.
