How To Get Pookie Bakery’s Viral Cookies Even If You’re Not In NYC

If there are only two things I love in life, they are New York City and freshly baked cookies — and of course, two two go very well together. New York bakeries seem to constantly go viral for their fan-favorite desserts (hello, dot cakes); however, as someone who doesn’t live in the city (yet), I’m typically on the outside begging to be let in on every new trending dessert across any of the five boroughs. The latest NYC bakery to add to my FOMO? Pookie Bakery, which happens to be a pop-up shop inside a gyro joint.

The Brooklyn bake shop, which takes up space within the family-owned Gyro Cafe, is going viral for its signature “Big Body Cookies” — six-ounce confections made with rich butter and premium chocolate. Founder Muheed Ali has watched his family run the cafe for almost two decades, and has now put the family business and his cookies on the map, both bringing customers inside and making those of us not in New York extremely jealous.

But fear not, my fellow non-New Yorkers. Lucky for us, there is another way to get our hands on these delicious-looking sweet treats. Whether you’ve got a family party, a work meeting, or just a love of cookies and sense of curiosity, here’s how to get your hands on Brooklyn’s newest viral treat.

How To Order Pookie Bakery’s Viral Cookies Online

Here’s the great news: Pookie Bakery ships its cookies nationwide. Yes, you read that right — no matter where you are across the United States, you too can enjoy a delicious treat and be part of yet another NYC trend by ordering Pookie Bakery cookies right to your door through the bakery’s website. There are all sorts of options for cookie flavors: White Chocolate Lava Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Nutella Stuffed Cookie, Oreo Cookie, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Dubai Chocolate Lava Cookie, Butterscotch Biscoff, and more. There’s also Pookie’s famous cookie tin, in which a cookie of your choice is baked inside a metal tin in order to achieve the crispy-yet-gooey texture the bakery has been going viral for. Cookie tins are $38 and individual cookies are $6 or less; shipping prices and times vary.

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely spending my next paycheck on a cookie order.
