Here’s How To Get A Free Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte On Sept. 8

Fall is officially creeping in, and with it comes the annual return of all things pumpkin spice. Dunkin’ kicked off its pumpkin season back on Aug. 19, bringing back its signature lineup of pumpkin-flavored drinks, donuts, and other treats just as the flavor started taking over fall menus everywhere. Now, the coffee chain is adding a little pop-star history to the season — or at least, a fictional version of it.

In the company’s newest campaign, Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton and Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell-Horner from the Spice Girls are teaming up with comedian and actress Rachel Dratch, who plays their fictional long-lost bandmate, Pumpkin Spice. According to the newly released video, Pumpkin Spice left the group years ago to pursue her true passion: lattes. And yes, she’s exactly as obsessed with pumpkin spice as you’d expect.

Of course, Pumpkin Spice was never actually a member of the biggest ‘90s girl group (unfortunately), but the campaign imagines what her place in the band might have looked like — complete with pumpkin-inspired hits, choreography, and lots and lots of seasonal enthusiasm.

The very specific reunion comes just in time for peak pumpkin spice season, but there’s another reason to pay attention: To celebrate the return of the long-lost bandmate, Dunkin’ is giving away free Pumpkin Spice Signature Lattes on Sept. 8.

How To Get A Free Pumpkin Spice Latte From Dunkin’

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time on Sept. 8, customers can get a free medium Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte with a qualifying purchase at participating Dunkin’ locations. The offer is available for orders placed in-store or through the Dunkin’ app, and despite the word “qualifying,” the purchase requirement is pretty simple — almost anything counts, except individual MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats or a cup of water.

The latte itself can be ordered hot or iced, so whether you’re clinging onto the end of summer with an iced drink or fully embracing fall with a warm latte and a listen to “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” you have options.

So, if you needed an excuse to make an afternoon Dunkin’ run, today might be the day. And if you happen to be wondering where the Spice Girls’ mysterious sixth member has been all these years, well, she’s been busy making lattes.
