Everyone knows Halloween in college lasts for more than one night. For the seemingly never-ending celebrating you got plenty of inspiration from HC. And now we’re going a step further and sharing our own costumes! Check out the below for what the collegiettes at Her Campus are being this year for some more ideas and then share your Halloween costume with us by leaving a comment below!
I’m going to be a cat, for about the 5th year in a row, because it’s an easy costume and I already own some cat ears! I guess I’m just not very creative when it comes to costumes and don’t want to invest in a new one if I will never wear it again.

I’m being a number of things, as there are two “Halloweekends” this year. First I’m being Jessica Day from “New Girl” because I recently fell in love with that show and recently got bangs, so it’s an easy one! I’m also being a member of “The Bling Ring” and then I’m being Man Repeller the blogger! They are both easy to create out of my own clothes, but they are both things that I love! Great combos.

I am being Snow White, because life is always better as a princess!
– Letty Salamanca, Chapter Advisor, American University
For Halloween, I’m being Morticia and Gomez from the Addams Family with my boyfriend. My friend might dress up as Wednesday Addams as well.

This year for Halloween I’m going to be Gru from “Despicable Me” and all my friends are going to dress up as minions! I’ve been working on my Russian accent for months and I’m definitely wearing a bald cap. I usually use Halloween as an excuse to look absolutely ridiculous so why not dress up like a bald, Russian, not-so-evil super villain?

I am dressing up as Peter Pan. As a senior who will soon be entering the real world, I am realizing how much I will miss college and all the amazing aspects of it. I, like Peter Pan, never want to grow up…at least for now.
– Meghan Gibbons, Campus Correspondent, Boston College
I am being Louis from One Direction. My friends will make up the other four band members. It’s a super fun group costume!
– Amanda Hancock, Contributing Writer, Miami University
I’m being Robin Thicke from the VMA’s because not only am I crossing the gender barrier, but I’m also crossing a very sensitive line between what some people consider offensive and what others consider entertainment. So many people, women especially, view Robin Thicke as degrading to women so I feel like I’m making a personal statement by playing the role of a male “womanizer” as a woman.

Jessie from Toy Story – my whole friend group is going as Toy Story characters; we all made our costumes!
– Katie Sieger, Campus Correspondent, St. Olaf College
I’m being McDonald’s fries. Like they say, you are what you eat!
– Alex Fulton, Campus Correspondent, St. Ambrose
I’m being Alice in Wonderland because I was able to put together pieces I already owned and didn’t have to spend any money. She’s also my favorite Disney character, and one of my favorite fictional characters.
– Alexis Brost, Campus Correspondent, Auburn University
I’m going to be ghost because Halloween kind of snuck up on me this year.
– Michella Ore, Campus Correspondent, Williams
I am being a Hershey Kiss for Halloween. I wanted to do something that wasn’t too generic, as well as something that was cute, easy to make, and easy to move around in!
– J’na Jefferson, Contributing Writer, Rider University
A gumball machine because I saw the idea online and thought it was really cute and fun. I like colorful things; last year I was a clown.
– Danielle Buchanan, Campus Correspondent, Eckerd College
I am being Miley Cyrus for Halloween — albeit a slightly more conservative version. The reason? I have short hair like Miley and I think I could pull off looking almost exactly like her. It will be fun to see people’s reactions if I do it right.
