So…tell us…what are you up to this Spring Break?
Interviewing and applying like crazy to summer internships. Must. Get. One.

My two-week Spring Break ends on March 14th and I traveled to visit friends in NYC and Boston, but I’m going on my “actual” Spring Break at the end of the month for a week with my family to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Although this is technically my last Spring Break of college I’m atypical in that I can’t stand the thought of a Cancun/Panama City MTV wild and crazy Spring Break with massive amounts of messy, drunk kids. Instead, I’ve always traveled somewhere with my family or sophomore year, explored Europe with my roommate. Even though I may not have the ultimate Spring Break experience in the eyes of many students, I love that I get to travel and spend time with my family!

I am spending my Spring Break with my best friend! The sun, the sand, the surf and the hotties at those nightclubs in Myrtle Beach await our arrival! My best friend made some CDs to blast on the drive down. The best part is that it will be such a fun and relaxing vacation since we don’t have to worry about satisfying a huge group of people, just us!

Going to Quintana Roo, Mexico for a week to an all-inclusive resort, where we get a daily activity (kayaking, rappelling, etc.), with my boyfriend. It’s basically in the middle of a jungle with absolutely nothing around and no electricity, which will be a wonderful way to get away from all the stress (and technology) of school and living near a city. We chose this trip because it was 50% off on LivingSocial.com and it was an opportunity we couldn’t miss out on!
Monica Park, Campus Correspondent, Northwestern University
My roommate and I are going to Florida! We’re planning on sitting in the sun everyday and relaxing! We chose Florida because her grandmother has a condo there and we wanted to avoid having to pay for an expensive hotel!

I’m taking a week-long trip to Myrtle Beach with three of my best friends and a few of our boyfriends. We wanted to spend our last Spring Break of college together, but none of us really had the money to spend on a cruise or a trip to Florida or anything fancy. Instead, we got a great deal on a beachfront condo and plan to spend the week relaxing, watching movies, going out, cooking dinner, and generally making the best of our last Spring Break ever. It probably won’t be that warm in Myrtle yet, but I know we’ll have a great time because we’ll be together. (And there’s a hot tub in our condo, so that doesn’t hurt!)

I’m going home! I’m a senior and so many of my friends are reigning in the final break with cruises or sunny vacations. But saving money, spending time with my family, catching up on sleep and applying for jobs sounds ideal to me. Not to mention, all the food is home cooked by my talented mother and absolutely free. Happy Spring Break indeed!

I’m going on a Global Outreach trip to San Diego. My team and I will be working with homeless teens. I choose to attend an outreach trip during my break because Fordham emphasizes service and I’m passionate about this project. It’s a great opportunity!
Sarah Ramirez, Campus Correspondent, Fordham University
I am abroad in Australia so I will be spending my Spring Break in Sydney!
Sophie Jasinski, Contributing Writer, Mount Holyoke College
I am doing an externship through the Alumni Board of Governors at my school. I am going to be shadowing an alumnus at her job at Fox News. Aside from that, I plan to relax and visit some old friends.
Lynda Lopez, Campus Correspondent, University of Chicago
I’m going to visit my grandparents in Longboat Key, Florida. After a couple years of enjoying the stereotypical college Spring Break experience, I am looking forward to a week full of lounging at the beach, eating delicious food, and taking water aerobics with the over-seventies crowd!
Nikki Fig, Editorial Intern, Emerson College
I’m going to visit my friends at different colleges from high school! Eight of my friends (including myself) are road-tripping to Philly for a few days to visit our friends at Temple University. Then, mid-week I’m visiting my best friend who attends NYU to see our favorite band Noah and the Whale! I’m so excited! It was a last minute decision!
Alexandra Pannoni, Campus Correspondent, Towson College
I will be participating in Tough Mudder, an intense challenge course race benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. If I survive that, I will then be heading to Miama, Florida to relax on the beach!
Kathryn Sullivan, Campus Correspondent, University of Tennessee: Knoxville
I’m going on a cruise to the Bahamas with my friends. We chose it because it was a great rate and it leaves from a local location so we didn’t have to pay for air fair. We’re hoping to get some warm days in!
Leigh Maneri, Campus Correspondent, Quinnipiac College

I’m going to Milan, Amsterdam and Granada, Spain! I’m visiting my best friends who are studying abroad and we are going to travel around Europe for two weeks. I decided to take this trip since I will be graduating soon and would love to visit new cities with my girlfriends before I jump in to the real world.
Natalie Labriola, Campus Correspondent, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
Windsor, Annie and I are going to Miami for college Spring Break! We’ll be doing lots of fun publicity stunts for Her Campus while we’re down there!
Stephanie Kaplan, Co-Founder, Harvard Alum
This Spring Break, I will be employed as a couch potato. I plan on getting ahead on some work, working out and just relaxing with friends!
Alexa Rozzi, Campus Correspondent, TCNJ
I’m going on a cruise to the Bahamas with 2 of my sorority sisters! I’m a senior, and ever other year in college I’ve gone home for Spring Break, so I decided that for my last Spring Break EVER it’s “go big or go home” — or “go big or (and?) graduate.” So we’re going on a week long cruise to the Bahamas! I’m SO excited for the warm weather, buffets, and everything else that goes along with the cruise!
Cassidy Quinn Brettler, Blogger, Emerson College
I’m going to Negril, Jamaica for 7 days with my roommates! Tons of people from Syracuse are going to Punta Cana, but we wanted to have a Spring Break away from everyone we typically see every day. We went through Sun Splash Tours and got an awesome deal on an all-inclusive resort. We’re definitely going to spend a lot of time lounging on the beach getting a tan, but we bought a “party pack,” which includes deals at clubs and bars in the area.
Nancy Mucciarone, Contributing Writer, Syracuse University
I’m spending my Spring Break on a musical tour with my concert choir across Spain!
Devon Williams, Campus Correspondent, Eckerd College
I am lucky and have a two-week Spring Break, so I’m going to San Francisco for the first week and L.A. for the second week! In between I am going to visit a friend at UCSB right during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, and I can’t wait to see what life is like at a huge party school on the beach because Bowdoin is a small school with no Greek life in Maine. Womp Womp. And I have never been to San Francisco before, so I’m pumped!
