THE HC TEAM WEIGHS IN: Anonymous Apologies

We all have things we want to apologize for sometimes. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to swallow our pride and say sorry. While if you feel that you owe someone an apology, you should do so, in the meantime you can anonymously apologize to Her Campus.

Check out what the HC Team is apologizing for and share your own apologies by leaving a comment below.

I’m sorry I hurt you when I got you help for your drinking problem. I never meant to hurt you, and I hope someday in the future you realize I only did it because I cared.
– James Madison University

I am sorry to all the girls that I hurt in middle school and high school. I am sorry that I took out my own insecurities on you and I just wanted to let you all know that you are all great, nice girls.
– Tufts University

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I was transferring. It was a scary decision, and I wasn’t sure who to tell and who to keep out.
– University of Missouri-Columbia

I’m sorry that I make our co-ed bathroom smell like delicious coconut shampoo (or am I…).
– Connecticut College

I wish I had never cheated on you. I am so sorry. I lost the best thing I ever had.
– Farleigh Dickinson College

I’m sorry I told your mom about your drug problem. I was worried about you. I didn’t know what else to do and I wanted you to get help.
– Cornell University

I’m sorry for never putting the toilet paper on the ring. I was annoyed with you and I knew not putting it on the ring would annoy you.
– University of Delaware

I’m sorry for being such a bad friend after you didn’t get into a sorority. I was overwhelmed by everything going on around me and I wasn’t thinking. I was careless with our friendship and I apologize for that.
– High Point University

I’m sorry for hooking up with your boyfriend. I was young and dumb and I look back on it at one of my biggest regrets. He was awful and we’re both better off without him.
– Washington and Lee University

I’m sorry I blamed you for all of my problems. I have learned now to take responsibility and I realized you did nothing but try to help. It’s hard for me to swallow my pride and say it to you — and I hope I can one day.
– Rutgers University

Huge apologies for ruining your Alice + Olivia dress! I was so appreciative you let me borrow it and then I drank too much and was an idiot. I promise I’ll pay you back when I get the money!!!
– Ithaca College

I know it’s really after the fact, but I’m sorry for not being there for you when you needed me most. I was selfish and didn’t want to deal with the problems you were having. It’s been a long time, but I think about it all the time.
