Now, they’re gearing up to take a more sophisticated turn, as they’re partnering with Martha Stewart to release a brand new martini shaker and line of martini glasses. (Yes, interior decorator and kitchen appliance connoisseur Martha Stewart.) If you’re responsible for the libations at this year’s holiday party, listen closely. Don’t bring that typical bottle of wine you always do. It’s time you added a little flavor to your bar cart. This year, Stewart is debuting the Dunkintini, featuring Dunkin’s smooth-tasting espresso and your choice of vodka. And it wouldn’t be a holiday without an instructional video from Stewart showing how to craft the perfect drink!
To create the Dunkintini, you’ll also need the limited edition Dunkin’ Holiday Martini Shaker ($25) and Martini Glasses ($20), which are available on shopdunkin.com starting on Friday, Dec. 1. Dunkin’ Rewards members will receive exclusive, early access on Thursday, Nov. 30, so time to stock up! And if martini shakers and glasses aren’t your thing, they’re the perfect gift to send to all the espresso martini lovers in your life.
The martini shaker comes in the signature Dunkin’ pink color and features multicolored sprinkles and the Dunkin’ logo on the front. As for the martini glasses, there are three different shades to choose from — red, green, and pink — and they’ve all got subtle holiday details.
Once you’ve got your glasses and shaker, you’ve got to perfect the Dunkintini drink. And thanks to Martha Stewart, now you have the recipe.
Ingredients:
• 1 ounce Dunkin’ Espresso
• 2 ounces vodka
• 1 ounce coffee liqueur
• Coffee beans for garnish
Steps:
• Fill your Dunkin’ Holiday Martini Shaker with ice and combine Dunkin’ Espresso, vodka
and coffee liqueur in a shaker
• Shake well until combined and chilled
• Strain into a chilled martini glass (or your new Dunkin’ Martini Glass!)
• Garnish with a few coffee beans and savor the moment!
