One topic on so many college student’s lips right now (besides how awful finals are, of course) is whether or not their team is “bowl eligible.” But, for those students who are not football players and feel a bit left out, Chipotle is here to offer you a win with a buy-one-get-one offer through Chipotle’s Bowl Eligible program.Â
From Dec. 10 through Dec. 18, students at the 84 universities that qualified for the 2025 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS, for short) postseason games can sign up for Chipotle U Rewards to receive a BOGO offer. This limited-time offer will then be deposited directly into eligible members’ wallets by Dec. 19 at the latest, which is just in time for any tailgates, watch parties, or, perhaps, a multi-hour doomscroll to figure out why Notre Dame fans are upset.
Now, a crucial step is to see whether your team is bowl eligible in the first place, so take a quick look before getting your hopes up (if you don’t already know the status of your school, no judgment). If you are attending one of the 84 universities in the postseason playoffs, then you’re ready to claim your trophy in the most delicious form: free Chipotle.Â
Once that is out of the way, all you need to do is sign up for Chipotle U Rewards. If you didn’t know, this rewards program, launched earlier this year, is designed specifically with Gen Z college students in mind. After all, what college student isn’t always on the hunt for student discounts? Each Chipotle U Rewards member scores 1,000 bonus points upon enrolling and earns 20% more points on every purchase. Then, boom, as soon as you enroll, the Bowl Eligible BOGO offer will be dropped into your wallet on Dec.19.
To the pre-existing Chipotle U Rewards members, you have even less to do; just watch that BOGO hit your wallet on Dec. 10, no extra work necessary. Place your order through the Chipotle app or on Chipotle.com at participating Chipotle restaurants and claim your burrito, burrito bowl, tacos, quesadilla, or salad (because even if you’re “bowl” eligible, it might not be what you’re craving!). But remember that the BOGO codes expire within seven days of being dropped into your account, so use them while you can!
