How to Exercise in the Heat Safely

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

In 2012, runners suffered through the 116th Boston Marathon in record-breaking temperatures that topped out at 87 degrees. With summer in full swing and heat waves sweeping the country unrelentingly, it’s important to understand how to stay safe while enjoying the summer sun. When your body can’t release heat effectively, your internal temperature begins to rise, and heat exhaustion and heat stroke may happen.
