Since it premiered on Netflix, the new show “13 Reason’s Why” has caused quite the stir with well, everyone. With some viewers saying it “glorifies suicide” to others saying it ignores the topic of mental health altogether, the show has been pretty controversial since the beginning.
That’s why many people were surprised to hear that the show will be getting a second season on Netflix. Although at first it was just a hypothetical situation that fans hoped would actually happen, executive producer Selena Gomez, took to Instagram today to share that it really is getting renewed. “Their story isn’t over. Season 2 of #13ReasonsWhy is coming,” she said. To celebrate this news, she shared the first official teaser.
There isn’t a lot going on in the short clip but you do get glimpses of some of the famous landmarks in the show: the movie theater where Clay and Hannah worked, the high school, Hannah’s parents’ drug store, and the infamous coffee shop.
As of right now, there is no date for when the second season will be coming out so really, all we can do is wait and see.
