Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have always had a roller coaster relationship. In fact, the pair have broken up and gotten back together so many times that we’ve lost track. And remember when they were previously engaged, but called it off in 2013? Yeah, we didn’t see that one coming either.
Just when we thought the couple was dunzo, Miley was spotted hanging out with Liam’s family in Australia. People were convinced that Miam rekindled their romance when Miley was seen flaunting her engagement ring from Liam on THAT finger a few weeks ago at a basketball game.
However, Liam recently clarified his relationship status while chatting with an Australian radio station. When asked whether or not he and Miley are engaged, Liam replied, “I’m not engaged, no.” Wait, what?!?
Consider us completely baffled by this revelation. While Miam shippers might be devastated by this news, the couple may not necessarily be over for good. Apparently, this interview was conducted on March 31 and wasn’t released to the public until yesterday. Considering that it has been a few weeks since the talk took place, Liam’s statement may not necessarily be accurate. Let’s be honest, A LOT can happen in a few weeks—especially if we’re talking about these two stars. Somehow, we just have a feeling that Liam and Miley are the kind of people who’d categorize their relationship as “it’s complicated.”
