Lady Gaga Dropped a New Song at Coachella Last Night

Considering how much she killed it, it’s hard to believe Lady Gaga was only performing at Coachella in order to fill in for a very-pregnant-with-twins Beyoncé. Not only did her set feature fireworks and her flawless lineup of hits (‘Telephone’ and ‘Born This Way’ anyone?), but she also surprised fans with a brand new song.

Called, “The Cure” the song totally nails the dance-y, pop vibe that we’ve always loved Lady Gaga for – and it’s SO fun and upbeat. After performing it in a seriously spectacular way only Gaga can, she released the song on streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify immediately – because she’s amazing like that.

Because she just released her latest album, Joanne, Rolling Stone reports that it’s unclear whether this means we’re getting a new album (already?!) or if ‘The Cure’ will act as a bonus track on Gaga’s already-released album. What we do know is that we’ll be playing her catchy new tune endlessly until she does it all again at weekend two of the festival.
