As always, some commenters praised her while others shamed her. Yet no one could deny Kim appeared to be in great shape just three months after giving birth to her second child, Saint West. This led to some speculation about when the selfie was actually taken. She first debuted her plaitnum blonde hair at Paris Fashion Week last year but has since returned to her natural brunette locks—though she did briefly don a blonde wig at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 and The Life of Pablo launch last month.
Kim later clarified the confusion by posting another photo of herself with blonde hair captioned “Paris flashback BTS,” confirming that the previous selfie was in fact from last year.
Whether it was an old photo or a more recent one, Kim looks great. With the media’s constant scrutiny of her body, when she’s pregnant and even when she’s not, all power to her for being confident enough in her body to share such a selfie with the world.
