Can you believe it? The union of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, better known as Kimye, happened four years ago already. Four years! That’s like, at least 11 seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But three children and a lot of public controversy and marital bliss later, and the two are still as in love as they were when they tied the knot in Florence fours years ago.
Ever the social media queen, Kim took to her Instagram to share a sweet, never-before-seen photo of the two on their wedding day. “4 years down and forever to go,” Kim captioned the image. “Thank you babe for giving me our family and caring so much about us. Thank you for inspiring me on a daily, I’m so lucky. I can’t wait for forever… Happy Anniversary.”
It’s sweet to see her sharing sweet anecdotes following the maelstrom Kanye put himself in, when he made his return to social media and in a recent interview discussed his opioid addiction, made controversial remarks and stated his endorsement of Donald Trump. A source tells People, “Does Kim agree with everything Kanye does and says? No, absolutely not. But does she stand by him? Always. They always have each other’s backs and will always go to bat for one another.”
