We’ll never forget that infamous 2009 MTV VMA moment when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift while she was accepting her award—and apparently Kanye can’t forget it either. Kayne is known for being incredibly outspoken, and his frequent rants on Twitter are a testament to this. Although Kanye and Taylor claimed that they were friends, Kanye’s controversial “Famous” lyric referring to Tay made us seriously question that.
And it seems like Kanye just can’t stop talking about the “Bad Blood” singer. While at a show on Saturday night, Kanye once again brought up that time he interrupted Taylor mid-acceptance speech.
According to Kanye, Lady Gaga canceled their tour after the VMA incident, believing he was acting completely immature. Because of this, Kanye proceeded to call that event “the beginning of the end of my life.”
He also added, “I had to fight every day of my life when the whole world turned against me for saying out loud what everyone else felt, but that’s the job of an artist, of a true artist.” Kayne, don’t you think that’s a bit overdramatic?
Despite what Kayne says, he seems to have recovered quite well. What do you think? Will Kanye and Taylor ever be true friends?
