After nearly a year together, Halsey and G-Eazy are taking a break.
Halsey made the announcement in an Instagram story on Tuesday, writing, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart.”
She continued, “I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”
Later on Tuesday, Halsey posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that twists the lyrics of a new Drake song, “8 Out of 10.”
“Kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur ass goodbye,” the caption read.
Fans also noticed that Halsey had begun deleting photos of her and G-Eazy from her Instagram account.
G-Eazy — who is reportedly traveling in Europe — has yet to comment on the split.
