Gina Rodriguez Is Engaged & I’m So Happy For Her

Gina Rodriguez might be dealing with the ups and downs of love on Jane The Virgin, but it looks like it’s all coming up roses IRL: according to InStyle, the actress is reportedly engaged!

Rodriguez has been dating actor Joe LoCicero since 2016, Us Weekly reports, and met when LoCicero had a guest role on Jane The Virgin. And though neither one of them have outright confirmed their engagement, there’s some pretty damning evidence on Instagram right now.

Rodriguez posted a photo on Instagram to celebrate her 34th birthday on July 30. She and LoCicero were on vacation in Mexico, and she is glowing. The caption gives nothing away, but there is a giant rock on her finger that led to wild speculation about it being an engagement ring.

LoCicero also posted a gallery to celebrate Rodriguez’s 34th, and two of the photos show off the ring as well.

Happy Birthday my Love!

Though we’ll have to wait for Rodriguez and LoCicero to officially comment, I’m ready to start ringing the wedding bells now. 2018 truly seems to be the year of celebrity romance—first we had Pete and Ariana, then Hailey and Justin and now Gina and Joe. I’m not sure what’s in the water these people are drinking or how I can somehow hop on this train, but congrats to the happy couple!
