We all dream of having a celebrity accompany us to prom. For Jalaah Moore, a student at Memphis’s Fairley High School, that dream became a reality.
Jalaah brought Drake to her prom, but not as her date. (It’s a good thing because he totally didn’t get the pink sequin memo.) As Jalaah’s cousin, Drake played more of a chaperone figure.
That’s not all he did. According to ET Online, Drake paid for Jalaah and her date’s coordinating attire, along with a white Rolls Royce. Because that’s what family does, right?
Showstopping outfits and a luxury car weren’t enough, though. The “One Dance” singer also arranged for Jalaah and 400 (yes, 400!) friends to have an after-party at the Hard Rock Café.
Drake definitely pulled out all the stops to make sure his cousin had an amazing night. Even though he reportedly didn’t perform, I hope the DJ played “Hotline Bling.” Honestly watching Drake do that dance would be enough.
One thing is for sure: Jalaah definitely had the best prom ever.
