Blake Lively Was Awkward in High School, Too

With her long blonde hair and perfect smile, it’s safe to say that Blake Lively is not human. Or at least, she does a pretty good job of pretending that she is not. That is, until now.

In the August issue of Elle Australia, Lively opens up about having a pretty rough time growing up and in high school just like any other teenage girl. Same, girl. Same.

She told the magazine that she “was very introverted and very awkward in social situations” and “didn’t fit in that well in high school because I was tall and shy and not very confident about myself.” Who would have thought!

Apparently, it wasn’t until she was 16 and joined acting classes that she really began to overcome her insecurities. (And she promptly turned into the goddess that she is, we assume.) So basically, minus the braces and acne, we are the same person. Right?
