Amanda Stanton Confirms Her Split from ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Costar Josh Murray

It’s a sad day for Bachelor Nation. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, former Bachelor in Paradise star Amanda Stanton announced that she and fiancé Josh Murray have officially split.

We’re a little surprised with this breakup since the two of them seemed very happy with each other since the show ended. If you follow them on social media, you know that Josh moved across the country to live with Amanda and her two daughters.

Amanda states in the interview that the couple did break up a few weeks ago before the holidays and that it has been very hard because she didn’t know what to say to the public. She goes on to say that relationships do have problems, but at the end of the day, the problems she and Josh had just couldn’t be fixed.

“I just think there are some things in a relationship you can work on, you know, nobody is perfect,” Amanda tells ET. “There’s also things that you just can’t work on and things that you just know aren’t going to work out in the long run… It’s hard, you know, he moved across the country to live with us and I think, at the end of the day, we’re just very different people and things just didn’t work out.”

Amanda explains that the breakup happened at a convenient time since they were surrounded by her family for the holidays, making the transition easier on her two daughters, who were super close with Josh.

Even though Amanda isn’t revealing personal details about the split at this time, we all wonder if this breakup could be similar to what happened with Andi and Josh back in 2015. Either way, we just hope that the two of them will move on and be happy with the decision.
