Zendaya Opened Up On IG After Posting A Photo With A Ring On *That* Finger

Even though Zendaya and Tom Holland are mommy and daddy, the Spider-Man co-star couple is not ready to tie the knot just yet. After Zendaya posted a photo with a ring on her ring finger to her Instagram story, fans were going crazy about a possible engagement. But to our dismay, the Dune and Euphoria actress clarified she and Holland are not engaged.

“You think that’s how I would drop the news? You think, like, what!” Zendaya said in a since-deleted story. “I can’t post anything, you guys. I posted it for my hat. Like not for the ring on my right hand, you guys, seriously.” So it looks like the ring was on that finger… but on the wrong hand. Zendaya’s playful and down-to-earth response not only reveals her genuine sense of humor, but also her ability to effortlessly connect with her fans.

Since this dynamic duo has been dating for almost three years, Holland and Zendaya have decided to keep not only their personal lives but also their relationship private. With great power comes great responsibility to balance their incredibly successful careers with a strong and intimate connection. And both stars are absolutely pros at staying out of the public eye (Although Holland can be a secret spoiler sometimes). Other than some cute photos together on set or some birthday posts here and there, their relationship is largely off social media. While they do have paparazzi moments, Zendaya and Holland’s commitment to keeping their love story personal and away from the spotlight is super sweet.

In a brilliant move to quash the engagement rumor, Zendaya took to social media once again and reposted the original photo, which she captioned, “Let me just put the full body back so y’all can relax lmao.” The image featured her in a casual car reflection selfie, rocking a Golden State Warriors hat and an exquisite large pearl ring adorning the hand holding her phone.

While fans might need to wait a little bit longer before they see Tom Holland and Zendaya make it official, this power couple knows how to keep fans on the edge of their seats! With their undeniable chemistry on-screen and their charming off-screen moments, they’ve become the embodiment of a modern-day fairytale.

Whether they’re swinging through the streets of New York as Spider-Man and MJ or simply sharing their real-life adventures on social media, Holland and Zendaya have captured fans’ hearts and given everyone something to root for. So, as fans eagerly await the possibility of an official engagement announcement, one thing’s for sure: their love story is already legendary, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two talented, relatable stars.
