It has been almost a year to the day since Zayn Malik quit One Direction. While time does heal most wounds, that concept doesn’t seem to apply to Zayn’s split with the band.
In an interview with NME, Zayn reveals that he is still in close contact with Liam. “I’m still probably the closest to Liam. We talk on the phone…We haven’t met up in a long time so we want to meet up.”
Alas, it seems like Liam is the only one making Zayn’s hotline bling these days. When it comes to his other former bandmates, “I tried to have contact but nobody’s reached out. So…whatever.”Â
We’re going to go cry into a pillow now, mourning the love lost between these five guys.
