Yes, The Duck Phone Will Be Back For ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’

Has it really been almost ten years since Jersey Shore mania began sweeping the nation in 2009? Has it really been that long since we bore witness to a sea of fake tans, hair poofs, and Ed Hardy patterns? Do we even understand the sanctity of Gym, Tan, and Laundry anymore?!

Luckily, MTV’s biggest reality show is returning with a new special, Jersey Shore Family Vacation, on April 5, 2018.

Many things have changed in all of our lives, but the one thing that hasn’t is the duck phone. MTV has confirmed that the infamous mallard of communication will be a part of the new special, as well.

Returning cast members include Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

A lot has changed since the heyday of those jabronis’ adventures. Fans who were in middle and high school at the time of air are now adults with actual jobs. Many of the cast members have started families and brought some baby guidos and guidettes into the world.

Though over the years cast members and fans alike have gone through a lot of lifestyle changes, it’s comforting to see that some things can survive the test of time. Even though many members of the Jersey Shore gang spend their days taking care of the kids instead of going out to the club, the duck phone represents the universal bond of friendship that they all share after coming together as a community during the crucial years of their young adult life…

Yeah, it’s just a duck phone. A phone that looks and sounds like a duck.

Regardless, we can’t wait to hear who or what is gonna be on the other end!
