The Halftime Show is a celebration of an artist’s discography and allows fans to witness amazing performances in real time. Over the years, artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, and Rihanna have dominated the Haltime Show with their stellar performance, and for the Super Bowl LVIII, Usher is scheduled to bring his hit songs to the Haltime Show. But what time is his performance even starting?

Since kickoff starts at 6:30 pm EST, it’s safe to assume that the Halftime show will start around 8:00 pm EST.

On Sept. 24, 2023, Usher was announced as the headliner of the 2024 Halftime Show. The R&B singer has a career spanning 30 years and several No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from the 2000s such as “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Confessions Part II.” Usher’s dance moves, hit songs, and recent Las Vegas residency suggests that his upcoming performance will be memorable.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Usher mentioned that his performance will serve as a tribute to Black artists who came before him. He also recognized people who’ve been part of his journey throughout the years.

“So, everybody that has been a part of it, I’m carrying them with me. All of my fans, my loved ones, the people who may have felt like they have been forgotten, they haven’t. I’m carrying you right with me when I walk on that stage that night,” Usher said.

Ahead of his performance, Usher released his ninth studio album, Coming Home on Feb. 9 with merch accompanying it. The official vinyl, CD, and merch for the album are available for pre-order. Usher also announced that he will be embarking on the Usher: Past Present Future tour in August 2024. The tour will consist of shows in 24 U.S. cities, starting with Washington D.C., and concluding in Chicago. Tickets for the general public go on sale Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. and the fan pre-sale will begin on Feb. 9.
