Do you typically do laundry after you have gone to the gym and the tanning bed? Is it debatable whether you go through more cans of hairspray or handles of vodka? Do you lose fingernails and hair extensions every time you get into a spat with your roommates?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in luck: MTV is recasting season six of ‘Jersey Shore’ with a whole new set of guidos and guidettes. Just don’t be too much of a diva — rumor has it that MTV’s sending the old cast off because the stars (for lack of a better word) were looking to be paid more than the six figures they’re already being paid per episode.
Bye-bye, Snooks :(
Luckily, JWoww, Snooki, Pauly D and the Situation all have spin-off shows in the works, so we can still get our healthy dose of sky-high poufs, sounds-in-place-of-real-words, JWoww’s dominatrix outfits, “Aww yeah _______ yeah!!!” and abs we all want to touch. As for “a blast in a cup,” Ron-Ron juice and the on-again-off-again relationship saga, well, let’s just hope there’s a Ron and Sam (name-to-gender relationship interchangeable) on season six.
Season four, which was filmed in Italy, is set to premier on Aug. 4, and filming for season five begins in New Jersey on Monday, so don’t worry, we still have a whole two seasons to go before — waaah! — we say goodbye.
Will Seaside ever be the same without the original cast — and will you continue watch guidos and guidettes, part two?
