Watch Luke Perry’s Reaction As KJ Apa & Lili Reinhart Recreate An Iconic ‘90210’ Dylan & Brenda Scene

We’ve been waiting for the return of Riverdale for months, and tonight’s the big night! But before the season three premiere, Riverdale stars KJ Apa (Archie), Lili Reinhart (Betty), Mädchen Amick (Alice Cooper) and Luke Perry (Fred Andrews) made an appearance on Andy Cohen’s late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live

The four actors were there to talk about the new season of Riverdale, but they made some time to indulge on some adult beverages and recreate an iconic scene in television history. Some fans of Riverdale might not be old enough to remember, but before he was Fred Andrews, Luke Perry played Dylan McKay on the popular show Beverly Hills, 90210.

Early on in the show, Dylan is dealt an emotional blow when Brenda decides to break up with him after a series of tumultuous events in their relationship. This turn of events left viewers devastated (similar to how I felt when I thought Ezria wouldn’t make it on PLL), and instantly became a classic.

Well, last night, Andy Cohen, in his recurring segment “Clubhouse Playhouse,” had KJ Apa and Lili Reinhart recreate the memorable scene, while Luke Perry looked on. KJ and Lili handled the scene with the perfect level of drama and gravitas.

Luke seemed satisfied with the performance, chuckling throughout, nodding his approval and giving a thunderous round of applause at the end.

Watch Lili and KJ reenact the iconic scene below.

Season three of Riverdale premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW.
