Twitter Tried to Recreate Ariana Grande’s Album Cover, & The Results Are Funnier Than You Could Ever Imagine

This week in the Twitterverse, users are uniting in an attempt to answer one very important question: Is Ariana Grande‘s pose on the My Everything album cover even possible?

As Cosmopolitan reports, the debate started when BuzzFeed’s Jesse McLaren attempted to recreate the pose himself. He tweeted the results, concluding, “I’ve done the research and there’s no way her ass is sitting on that stool.”

Responders started to criticize his attempt, claiming that the whole pose is thrown off without the heels or iconic ponytail. McLaren defended his “research,” unintentionally sparking a playful argument that went viral. 

Other curious fans began to conduct analysis of their own, and the results are downright hilarious. 

People started to speculate that the album cover is Photoshopped, but the plot thickened when one user drew attention to the album shoot’s outtakes.

What encouraged so many people to take time out of their days to solve this online dilemma? The world may never know. What we do know is that the internet rocks, and Ariana seemed to get a kick out of the whole thing, too.
