Trump Had A Wild ‘Fox & Friends’ Interview & Admitted Cohen Represented Him Over Stormy Daniels Payments

He’s back at it again! After a very busy week of bonding with his new best friend Kanye West over Twitter, President Donald Trump gave a wild (yet fairly typical for him, at this rate) interview this morning. The President appeared on “Fox & Friends,” and it seems his lack of experience as a politician once again prevented him from speaking with the precision usually required in such an interview.

According to The New York Times, President Trump failed to provide context for many of his claims. While the President correctly noted that the unemployment rate for African-Americans is the lowest it has ever been, he did not note that it is still higher than the national unemployment rate.  President Trump also lauded his “big” tax cuts, but neglected to mention that, as noted by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, they were only the eighth largest ever.

CNN assembled a compilation of the most noteworthy lines from the interview. In one of them, President Trump admits that Attorney Michael Cohen is, in fact, his lawyer, and that he represented him in what he referred to as the “crazy Stormy Daniels deal.”  As NPR noted, this was the first time Trump has admitted that he had any connection with the allegations that Cohen paid off adult film star Stormy Daniels to stay quiet about an alleged affair the two had. Previously, Trump had denied the affair and any connection to the payments.

Other highlights include the President’s infamous “no collusion” catchphrase and a shoutout to “the enemies and haters.” Oh, and a reminder that “We’re doing very well with North Korea,” even though “it was very, very nasty with Little Rocket Man and with the buttons.”

Yes, hard as it is to believe, that is a real quote.
