Unlike his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who, despite taking a months-long hiatus from the public eye throughout her pregnancy, took to social media to announce her new baby girl’s birth, name and first public photo, Travis Scott has been a man of few words following the birth of his daughter.
Other than making it clear that he was definitely excited about officially becoming a father via a tweet that quickly followed Kylie’s announcement that she’d given birth, we haven’t heard much from Scott since Stormi’s birth — that is, until now. And while it may be short and sweet, his first public comment about his new daughter is enough to melt your heart.
While leaving a nightclub on Saturday night, TMZ asked nortoriously-private Scott how his 2-week-old daughter was doing. “She’s beautiful,” he responded before getting into his car. And really, isn’t that the best way of putting it?
Scott also shared the first photo of he and Kylie following their daughter’s birth earlier last week, which was a black-and-white Snapchat of the two rocking surgical masks, featuring the cryptic caption, “bdjxjkdn.” No word on the reason for the masks, but hey, you can never be too careful when you have a brand-new baby at home.
While, according to People Scott and Jenner still live separately, they have reportedly still been managing to split the parenting duties evenly. “Despite being new parents, Kylie and Travis are still in a new relationship too. Kylie is happy with their living situation,” a source told People. “Travis is a great dad. When he wants to work, Kylie is supportive.” Aww.
