Twitter Blew Up With Memes After Taylor & Matty Were Spotted Holding Hands

To say the least, Taylor Swift fans have been well-fed in terms of updates these past couple weeks. While the superstar is still on her Eras Tour across the United States, we’ve seen the announcement of her unfortunate breakup with her Joe Alywn in April, the rumored theory that she may release a book on July 9 (false alarm, Swifties), and now rumors that she and The 1975 band member Matty Healy are dating — I honestly can’t wrap my head around all of this information.

If you need a reminder, the rumors about the two first surfaced when The Sun published a piece suggesting that Swift and Healy were dating. Following Swift’s stop in Nashville for the Eras Tour on May 6, the two were photographed together in the back of a chauffeured vehicle through images obtained by The Daily Mail

The reported pair was photographed together once again on May 11 at Casa Cipriani in New York City for what appeared to be a nice dinner outing. Before Swifties start claiming the outing was a date, Healy and Swift weren’t completely alone, as Jack Antonoff sat with them. If you remember, Antonoff reportedly helped the two connect with one another —  so he essentially played matchmaker for this rumored duo. To top it all off, true Swift fans noticed a major detail in the dinner photos: Swift and Healy were holding hands!

Fans were not shy in sharing their thoughts and opinions on the photo, which resulted in some funny comments and Twitter reactions — and, of course, some memes.
