Taylor Swift And Lana Del Rey Are Collabing On ‘Midnights’ & Twitter Is Here For It

This is not a drill: Lana Del Rey is officially collaborating with Taylor Swift! Yes, you read that right — at approximately 4 a.m. on Oct. 7, Swift took to TikTok to reveal that Del Rey would be the only featured artist on her upcoming album Midnights. The track, titled “Snow On The Beach,” is the first collaboration between the two artists, and let’s just say Twitter is living for this announcement.

Swift has been releasing tidbits about Midnights slowly (but surely) in her Midnights Mayhem series on TikTok leading up to the album’s Oct. 21 release. When there were only five track titles left to reveal, she began revealing the final songs that would encompass Midnights on Oct. 7… starting at midnight, of course. Swift surely made the right decision leaving “Snow On The Beach” as the finale track title reveal, racking up over 3 million views in just six hours after the video was released.

The announcement of a long-awaited collaboration between Swift and Del Rey has set Twitter on fire, and I’m definitely here for it. Not to mention, it’s been around eight months since we’ve gotten new music from Del Rey, and it just feels right that she’s hopping on Midnights. Here are a few of the best tweets celebrating Swift and Del Rey’s collaboration on “Snow On The Beach.”
