On Friday, Taylor Swift dropped a music video for her Reputation single “…Ready For It.” And as is typical with any T-Swift music video release, the Internet had plenty to say about it — including pointing out the fact that she appears to be naked through most of the video.
As Us Weekly reports, however, while at first glance Swift looks to be baring it all as a sexy cyborg, the singer was actually just rocking a high-tech nude body suit — and she took the opportunity to set everyone straight with a quick clapback in her Instagram story.
“It truly warms my heart that ppl had so much to say about this bodysuit,” she said, along with the laughing-so-hard-I’m-crying emoji.
BYE HATERS. Meanwhile, I’d just like to know where I can buy one before Halloween?
As for the video’s many Easter eggs (because you knew they’d be there), so far, fans have noticed everything from the numbers 89 and 91 (Tay and her rumored boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s birth years), to another possible reference to her eight exes via eight black cyborgs.
