It can be a little bit exhausting keeping up with Taylor Swift’s constantly changing love life. Fortunately, that’s what the HC Pop Campus bloggers are here for! Ever since being linked to the 18-year-old Conor Kennedy in July, Swift’s relationship with the extended Kennedy clan has been making headlines.
Let’s quickly recap Conor and Taylor’s relationship. In July, the two met at a family party and quickly fell in love. By early August rumors had surfaced that Taylor had purchased a house in Hyannis, Mass., right next to the Kennedy’s, though they turned out to be false according to the Cape Cod Times. Even though they weren’t destined to be neighbors, the two love birds were still going strong. Taylor’s relationship with the rest of the Kennedy family, however, came under some scrutiny when Swift was asked by the mother of the bride to leave a Kennedy wedding in late August.
But Taylor’s relationship with the Kennedy family seems to be stronger than ever. “She’s a good friend of our family and we all adore her and love her,” Rory Kennedy, Conor’s aunt, tells Us Weekly. Hopefully the relationship stays strong, but if it doesn’t, at least we can look forward to another catchy song from Taylor in the future!
