There’s A Surprise At The End Of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Movie, But It’s Not What You Think

Wouldn’t it have been epic if Taylor Swift snuck in a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) surprise announcement at the end of her Eras Tour concert film? I’ll admit, when I attended the premiere on Oct. 11, I kept my eyes peeled during the outro for anything of this sort. In a somewhat delusional manner, I half-expected Swift to include a Marvel-style post-credits scene featuring a snake animation, similar to her mysterious 2017 Instagram posts that kickstarted the original Reputation era.

However, what Swift actually opted to do at the movie’s conclusion was beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined.

While “Long Live (Taylor’s Version)” played, clips of fans and tour bloopers were shown alongside the movie credits. Like Swift told her fans who attended the film’s premiere on  Oct. 11, the Swifties have truly brought the Eras Tour to life. She acknowledged them throughout the concert itself, and made sure to capture them having the time of their lives for the movie. Some users on X (formerly known as Twitter) had the cutest reactions to seeing themselves on the big screen.

Twitter user @reckedmaserati (also known as Snowglobe Allie), who started the popular Swiftball game on the platform, dubbed Swift’s onstage mishaps as the “Errors Tour.” Swift, the queen of laughing at herself, couldn’t not feature a few such moments in her concert film. The “Errors Tour” has not only inspired some memorable and humorous social media content, but it’s also served as a reminder that Swift is human, just like the rest of us.

A couple of highlights included in the movie credit bloopers were of the haunted piano incident on May 21 in Foxborough, MA and Swift’s coughing fit after swallowing a bug on June 4 in Chicago. Despite her perfectionism when it comes to music, Swift never takes herself too seriously, and she inspires so many of us to do the same.

The closing scenes also featured Swift’s acknowledgement of anyone who had a role in her tour. In August, she generously gave $55 million in bonuses to her crew, staff, dancers, and band – so her celebration of them in this film was the cherry on top.

The Eras Tour concert film showcases Swift’s unmatched artistry and stage presence. It also celebrates the fans who have helped the superstar turn the tour into a worldwide phenomenon. Catch me sobbing in my local AMC every night for the foreseeable future, because this film is giving me all the feels.
