Singer and actress Suki Waterhouse revealed her pregnancy while on stage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico on Sunday, Nov. 19. Waterhouse is expecting her first child with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Still, after showing off her bump on stage, Waterhouse made her pregnancy Instagram official by posting a mirror selfie to her feed on Nov. 20.
Over the past few weeks, there had been speculation about Waterhouse being pregnant due to paparazzi photos that had surfaced, but fans hadn’t heard from the singer herself. During her show on Nov. 19, Waterhouse was dressed in a pink glitter minidress, fringe-trimmed boots, a feathered coat, and shimmery tights — an outfit she says she wore to distract the crowd from her bump. “I thought I’d wear something sparkly today to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” said Waterhouse to her fans. “I’m not sure if it’s working.” Little does she know, the outfit only made her baby bump more visible, and fans are here for it. She kept flashing open her feathered coat throughout her performance, causing fans to cheer louder and louder.
On Nov. 20, after her appearance at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico, she posted an Instagram photo dump with selfies and photos with friends, captioning it, “Thank you for such a beautiful time in Mexico!”
Since July 2018, speculations about Waterhouse and Twilight actor Robert Pattinson’s romance have taken over headlines. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple began living together in London while Pattinson was filming his iconic superhero role in The Batman. After The Batman was released in 2022, Waterhouse attended the red carpet with Pattinson, debuting their relationship. It was in February 2023 when Waterhouse opened up about their long-term relationship in an interview with The Sunday Times.
A couple of months later, the couple attended the Met Gala in New York together for the first time in May 2023. The Twilight star wore a custom blue suit paired with a pleated skirt, while The Daisy Jones & The Six star wore a beautiful, shimmery, sheer floral dress.
Waterhouse and Pattinson are now expecting their first child five years later, and fans couldn’t be more happy for them. “I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years,” Waterhouse said in her Sunday Times interview.
The private couple has only spoken about their relationship a handful of times throughout their dating timeline, But this hasn’t stopped fans from obsessing over their affair and pregnancy. And that includes me, too.
