You’ve streamed your favorite artists, created the most niche playlists, and hit shuffle on your go-to albums all year. And now, the stats are in, the 2025 Spotify Wrapped has finally been released. Spotify Wrapped gives users a complete breakdown of their listening habits over the past year — and this year, that includes your Listening Age. Wrapped sums up your top artists, songs, albums, and genres, gives you your total minutes streamed, and sometimes, even gives a thank you message from your most streamed artist. It takes all of that and tells you your Listening Age, which has been really fun for users.
This year, Spotify has included several new Wrapped features to give listeners even more insight into their music tastes and habits. For one, listeners can now see their rankings on fan leaderboards. Can’t get enough of your favorite singer? Now, you can see where you rank amongst other fans in terms of minutes streamed. Spotify has also included a Club feature, which sorts users into one of six clubs based on their listening style.
Though, the new feature that is going most viral on social media right now is Listening Age. Listening Age compares users’ music listening history to others in their age group, taking into account the years their most streamed songs were released. When viewing this feature on Wrapped, text appears that reads, “Age is just a number. So don’t take this personally.” Then, you get your Listening Age posted in big numbers. So far, tons of Spotify users are receiving wild answers, with ages way older or younger than their actual age. Are you an old soul, or a kid at heart? Apparently, Spotify can answer those questions for you.
Social media users are now posting memes showing their reactions to their Listening Age reveals, and honestly, I can’t stop laughing.
But as Spotify tells you, age is just a number, and so is your Listening Age. So don’t take it too seriously!
